Light plus form makes contrast. This collection showcases some on my recent black and white images. My vision for B&W images tends to be very contrasty with lots of deep blacks.

Infrared light gives a different view of the world, blue skies turn deep black and plants glow white, perfect for images with the extra contrasty. This collection contains a selection of IR images taken either with a converted camera or using a IR filter in front of the lens.
Taken using a 720nm IR filter and Lee Big Stopper to blur the clouds.

All these images were made using either intentional camera movement (ICM), multiple in camera exposures or free lensing. These techniques take a high quality lens and camera combination that has been designed to give shape will exposed images down to the blurred end of visual expression. These images are more about feelings and capturing the essence of the seen.

One of my fellow photographer friends said to me that I am a photographer that happens to take photos of animals and not a nature photographer, which I must admit is true.
